Our client is a major Oil & Gas exploration and production company. They are currently looking to recruit a QED Completions Controller.

As QED Completions Controller your main responsibilities will include:

  • Concurrent operations of Drilling, Construction, Operations and Commissioning
  • (SIMOPS)
  • Direct interfacing with, multi discipline, multi-cultural engineers and multiple Construction engineering contractors
  • Ensuring the design and plans reflect the desire to have a phased start up become a reality.
  • Building and mobilizing an administration support team with enough talent

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experienced Systems Completion professional, with BSc/HND or Equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
  • Considerable experience in the control and admisistration of a similar completions system eg. WinPCS, QEDi CPCS, Completions System Integraph, TOSTR, PIMS
  • Extensive experience in Project / Facilities / Construction Engineering or Commissioning work
  • Good inter-personal, communications, influencing and presentation skills are essential
  • Team player
  • Excellent inter-personal and leadership skills with good communications skills (i.e. report writing and presentations) are essential
  • Working under pressure in challenging environment
  • Ability to successfully manage relationships with key stakeholders

Our client has a vacancy for a Drilling and Completions Manager based in Europe.

As Drilling and Completions Manager your main responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring safety and environmental performance are given the highest priority during all phases of drilling and completion operations
  • Serve as “Project Owner” for development drilling campaigns under the terms of the Co-operatorship agreement, the Project Owner is responsible for leading an integrated team composed of, subsurface and production operations personnel to deliver new well objectives in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner, the Project Owner is also responsible for fostering good relationships with stakeholders to achieve mutually agreed objectives
  • Ensure WDX principles are embedded into D&C operations planning and execution processes
  • Proactively procure resources (staffing, support, etc.) to support & integrate with and to foster leading edge technology application appropriate to operations
  • Clearly communicate operations processes, decisions, forward plans to partners
  • Track and report in a timely manner progress vs. plan to management
  • Provide GDC resources to support D&C related activities in Denmark across all Value Chains
  • Building and maintaining effective working relationships between Drilling and other groups (internal and external)

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Exceptional verbal & written communications skills
  • Highly developed diplomatic skills to effectively bridge interfaces between multiple stakeholders with varying objectives and a broad range of drilling planning & operations technical knowledge
  • Technically highly competent with demonstrated ability to maintain team’s focus on overall program objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness
  • Demonstrated style/preference of building consensus within interdisciplinary team around common goals and objectives

  • Experience Requirements
  • Extensive experience of direct D&C engineering and operations experience, preferably with an operator

  • Considerable experience in Drilling Superintendent or equivalent role for offshore operations
  • Prefer direct experience in Joint Venture Partner Groups, regulatory bodies and other 3rd parties

Our client is a major Oil & Gas exploration and production company. They are currently looking to recruit a Flawless Project Delivery / Completions Engineer basedin Oman.

As Flawless Project Delivery / Completions Engineer you will be responsible for co-coordinating all activities to ensure that the project meets its obligations allowing startup first time on time and on budget with an admiral HSE record, and to interface with the project management team to ensure that all areas of the project contribute to these goals.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • To ensure that they fully comply with all Project HSE requirements
  • Develop the FPD Strategy so as to deliver visible improvements to the Design, Construction and Commissioning Start-up Phases
  • Develop the Commissioning to Operations Completion Handover systems. Execute the systems in the field
  • Promote health, safety and environmental awareness through inductions, training, inspection and promotions
  • Educate and Coach Project personnel on FPD and expectations
  • Develop FPD KPI’s and report out to Project Management monthly
  • Develop System Handover tracking tool and own in field
  • Coach Operations Personnel as to how to do System Handovers and expectations, line walks, punch lists, documentation.
  • Own the FPD aspects of the OR&A Plan
  • Plan, Schedule & Organize FPD Events, e.g. Visits, Workshops, Meetings, Health Checks etc. & to ensure the relevant people are available
  • To develop Q Captains and track implementation of their Assurance Plans
  • Influence commissioning to deliver timely RFO (Ready for Operations)
  • Engage in the implementation of the HSE-MS within the Project
  • Contribute to the development of the Document handover package at RFO
  • Interface with Construction so as to drive MC to fit the agreed Commissioning plan
  • Ensure all compliance documentation is handed over to Operations
  • Ensure that performance standards of Safety Critical Elements have been demonstrated during commissioning, along with appropriate witness points - thus demonstrating Technical Integrity
  • Participate in After Action Review so as to capture future project learning’s
  • Help develop an ingrained Safety culture by contributing to the STOP proactive safety system

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Experienced Operations Professional, with secondary and preferably tertiary technical education (post high school level)
  • Extensive experience in Project / Facilities / Construction Engineering or Operations work
