Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Supervise and support Completions Assistants/Clerks in their execution of their daily activities.
  • Provision of guidance and training of Completions Assistants/Clerks and ongoing review of work-scope quality
  • Identification of sub-system limits and updating of limits in line with latest revision of P&ID's/SLD's
  • Population of the completions management database in line with applicable project procedures and latest design data
  • Completion of data downloads and verification of data on completion of imports.
  • Production of field-test reports (FTR's) and liaisons with construction and commissioning personnel to ensure correct completion of these.
  • Day to day operation and control of the mechanical completion database and system completion records
  • Control of change to the completions management database in line with project change control procedures
  • Compilation and Verification of mechanical completion handover packages in line with agreed system of handover schedule.
  • Ensuring mechanical completion data, documentation and handover are in accordance with project procedures.
  • Adherence to all applicable site/project safety procedures and active participation in all company/project safety initiatives
  • Status reporting of completions progress as required by the project


Qualifications/Training
Essential:

  • ONC in appropriate engineering subject
  • Company Mandatory Training (Induction, risk awareness etc)
  • BOSIET/Medical (essential for offshore role)
  • IT Literate (Excel/Word/Powerpoint etc)

Desirable:

  • HNC in appropriate engineering subject
  • TRM/PTW training


Experience
Essential:

  • Demonstrable experience in completions role, with a proven background of delivery.
  • Conversant with the completions process and associated completions management software(WinPCS, Mancon, EDS etc).
  • Experienced in the production of procedures and reports.
  • Experienced in the supervision of personnel and team working.
  • Good knowledge of O&G related HSEQ safe working practices/procedures.

Desirable:
Offshore experience in similar role

Responsibilities:

  • To be conversant with the Project HSE Plan.
  • Proactively participate in achieving the highest possible international standard of HSE implementation.
  • Ensure Health & Safety Responsibilities are adhered to and understood.
  • Supervision and delegation to a GOC certification team.
  • Supervise and assist in the architectural build of the GOC system and its overall functionality.
  • Coordinate with Clientele, Design Engineers, Construction, Commissioning and Contractors to provide a populated and consistent database throughout completion/commissioning activities.
  • Interface with managers and discipline engineers to verify and quality check data collected and populated in GOC.
  • Maintain GOC security throughout Mechanical Completion, Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities.
  • Provide assistance as required to Offshore.
  • Ensure the project is provided with a physically checked and confirmed Asset Register at handover on completion.
  • Liaison with Construction, Commissioning & Design to establish Limits of System Handover (LOSH).
  • Daily administration and maintenance of the GOC system to maintain a robust completions tool.
  • Ensuring adequacy of as-built drawing records and EQ's are input to certification dossiers.
  • Provide monthly Punch list status.
  • Ensure all engineering changes are implemented in GOC to reflect most up to date tag information during completions/commissioning activities.
  • Maintain a GOC action tracker covering all GOC/certification activities within the Completions Department to ensure activities are addressed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ensure handover documentation is properly collected and collated in accordance with GOC Manual.
  • Provide a quantitative status report covering all areas of GOC to Management as required.

  • Higher professional education preferred with significant completions experience.
  • GOC Project Certification System (or similar).
  • Good understanding of Systemisation.
  • To demonstrate capabilities having successfully executed similar projects.

Our client is one of the world's largest providers of professional technical services. With a global network of more than 160 offices they operate in over 20 countries. They are currently looking to recruit an OCCMS Completions Coordinator based in Berkshire.

As OCCMS Completions Coordinator your main responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the setup and configuration of Completions Management System (CMS) for project requirements
  • Develop the Project Completions Handover Philosophy
  • Monitoring data population from source design engineering data
  • Oversee the management of change process, post design freeze
  • Management and control of all project verification activities, for all project phases
  • Verifying and issuing of certification for mechanical completion, pre-commissioning & commissioning through to handover to client 
  • Issuing of progress and status reports to management on a predetermined basis
  • Responsible for Mechanical Completion handovers from construction through to commissioning, start up and ultimately Operations
  • Compilation of mechanical completion and commissioning handover dossiers for client approval and plant acceptance
  • Defining system delineation and system limit drawings
  • Supervision and training of data entry clerks
  • Assist with HAZID, HAZOP, COSHH requirements and Task Risk Assessments 
  • Implementation and coordination of a preservation management system

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Extensive experience in Completions and Commissioning
  • Must be familiar with codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to the design and construction of Projects & Plats on a nuclear licensed Site
  • Must have a good working understanding of process/mechanical, piping, structural, electrical and instrumentation designs relating to onshore oil and gas production facilities
  • Interface Management skills 
  • Proven ability to work as an effective team player 
  • Knowledge of the functionality of Completion Management Systems (CMS) 
  • High level of written, oral and presentation skills 
  • High degree of computer literacy including past record of administrating Completion Management Systems 
  • Relevant technical qualification (HNC or above) or professional international equivalent
