Job Description

As DOCM you will be assisting the Offshore Construction Manager in the project execution. Ensuring efficient use of the equipment for the purpose of saving costs in the operation and minimizing disruptions. You will be supporting and managing the back deck crew/riggers regarding their role and responsibilities.

You will be responsible for safe implementation and completion of the operation within the terms of the local legislation and based on the company rules and procedures.

Skills & Experience

  • Secondary or Higher Vocational Education (Bachelor) level of working and thinking.
  • Considerable relevant experience in an internationally operating organization and experience in the maritime industry.
  • Good command of the English language, verbally and in writing.

Job Description

  • As an Electrical Superintendent you collaborate with the Technical Superintendent to prepare dockings and repairs on the electrical equipment.Advising the Technical Superintendent about the day-to-day situation concerning electrical systems.
  • Handling final reports for the superior (both electrical and financial) concerning repairs and reporting back desired improvements to the equipment.
  • Supporting the crew in the case of electrical problems on board.


Skills & Experience

  • A higher vocational degree in electrical engineering or similar.

  • Set Production direction and strategy for the Thermal Cluster in close liaison with the UEOP Function. Ensure the medium and long-term manpower issues within the asset based on project growth are addressed.
  • Engagement with Clusters team, Concept and study centre for new projects support
  • Manpower recruitment for the asset
  • Ensure redundant equipment are declared and project in place for site restoration
  • Define and maintain Operating Philosophies for all the Thermal Facilities in the Directorate
  • Ensure Support Engineers are assigned to all Thermal Projects and that 'Operations Readiness and Assurance' is fully implemented.
  • Ensure that Projects are commissioned and ensure adequate availability of commissioning engineers in all Assets.
  • Ensure Support Engineers are complying with OPE$T and MAROS modeling and develop activity based budgets for the projects.
  • Support implementation improvements / FCPs
  • Support Process Safety Management project
  • Actively facilitate the transfer of learning and best practices across assets group and directorates in company and participate in production benchmarking activities on behalf of the directorate
  • Ensure the asset input into company Operational Codes of Practice and Procedures is adequate, and that the asset documentation is maintained.
  • Review and analyse plant process performance on a regular basis and identify de-bottlenecking and plant optimisation improvements
  • Maintain an updated portfolio of surface optimisation opportunities
  • Actively participate in PtL's for south assets as required and CWE initiatives.
  • Support the Production Coordinator with process discipline expertise.
  • Develop and maintain Live Operating Envelopes for the Thermal assets
  • Provide assurance that plants are operating within their agreed Operating Envelope
  • Provide process engineering support to the FCP process as required.
  • Ensure the medium and long-term production issues within the asset are addressed
  • Provide Production and Process engineering support and input into all new Thermal Projects as required and participate in Design Reviews, HAZOPs, IPF's etc
  • Ensure compliance with company production standards and procedures.

  • Experience with OR & A for projects, lifecycle activity and cost management is desirable.
  • Have the Process or Control Engineering discipline, experience with oil and gas.
  • Proven track of delivery of creative solutions to overcome process constraints required
  • Ability to drive, guide and train Development Production & Process Engineers

Job Description

  • Preparation of the construction process and drawing up the project plans in collaboration with the Project Management Office.
  • Monitoring of planning deadlines, progress, quality, and budget using an ERP system, WBS, and process planning schedules.
  • Coordinating and supervising the construction process out of the base in Gorinchem.
  • Visiting international production locations will be an important part of this.
  • Coordination of the commissioning, sea trials, and delivery of ships to the customers in consultation with the classification society and our co-makers and suppliers.
  • Improving processes and products at design and detail level in relation to the various sub-processes, such as the engineering, construction, and procurement processes, and a reduction of failure costs and an improvement in quality.
  • Coordinating/indirectly supervising the project team along the entire production chain and supply chain.

Skills and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree (HBO) or Master's degree, preferably in Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Good oral and written command of Dutch and English.
  • Moderate work experience within multidisciplinary project management.
  • Knowledge and experience of multidisciplinary projects, WBS, and planning schedules is an advantage.
  • Experience of project administration in ERP.
  • Ability to set priorities, take a process-centered approach, and maintain an overview.
  • Organisational skills, quality conscious, flexible, and customer-oriented.
