RIMACC
RISK MANAGEMENT IN COMPLETIONS & COMMISSIONING
RIMACC operates within the boundaries defined as Completions & Commissioning and is a function of the overall HSE Management Plan.
RIMACC does not replace nor does it replicate other HSE processes.
It is stand alone within the HSE MP and is designed to assess the risk(s) which correspond to the scale and nature of the task(s) being undertaken when carrying out Completion & Commissioning activities.
The RIMACC process has 5 principal stages namely:
- Identification of the hazards and effects which give rise to the risk.
- Evaluation of the risk level to determine its tolerability.
- Identification of risk reduction measures.
- Reassessment of the risk in light of the measures to confirm the risk is ALARP.
- Determine and set the requirements necessary to ensure the risks are managed at a predetermined level.
RIMACC has been developed to interface and interact directly with ORBIT and through electronic ‘linkage’ will ensure that the correct risk evaluation is undertaken prior to the relative Completion & Commissioning activities.
