OCCMS Trainee Technician
OCCMS's Trainee Technician John Parkin has begun the next phase of his OCCMS sponsored apprenticeship by joining SPIE WHS Limited at OGN, Wallsend in a short term position. OGN Group now operate the Oil & Gas Module Fabrication Site previously owned by Amec and are ideally placed to provide practical training for John because of their local position and their proven experience in heavy industry electrical installation and testing. This period of outsourcing coupled with John's day release at Hartlepool College is designed to grow and mature his practical hands exposure. OCCMS's vision of supplying the next generation of Completions and Commissioning Engineers is encouraged by the assistance of local companies and we would like to thank everybody at SPIE WHS for their generous contribution to this important aspect of John's career and for their continued support.
