OCCMS Business Expansion
Promising signs of things to come are being seen in the corridors of the OCCMS Business Development Team in Newcastle. Contracts have recently been awarded by Jacobs Engineering for installation and administration of the OCCMS database Orbit on 2 projects within the Atomic Weapons Establishment, AWE, in Berkshire, England. Plans are already taking place to integrate Orbit into the current engineering and construction workflow. This new ‘nuclear’ component within Orbit is a first for CMS technology in general and OCCMS are proud to be the first Completions & Commissioning provider to become involved in such an exciting prospect.
Our newly formed Consultancy Division has been awarded 2 contracts, one is to provide specialist input to an ITT being carried out for a major gas compression project in West Africa and the second one is again involved in the nuclear industry.
Two OCCMS directors have recently visited Australia and presented to one of the world’s leading developers of major gas developments. This, along with several other prospects in the Australasia region into which OCCMS have already opened channels of communication, is causing quite a bit of excitement in terms of outlook and expectation.
Finally. OCCMS has recently opened a divisional branch office in Port Gentil in Gabon. Trading under the Orion banner this office will provide the hub not only for existing commitments to Addax Petroleum but also to other major operators located in the region.
