Industry first for OCCMS
Orion Completions & Commissioning Management Services (OCCMS) has become the first company of its kind to receive a global certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Inverness and Newcastle-based OCCMS has become the first completions and commissioning management company to receive the Quality Management System ISO: 9001 certification – a management framework recognised in more than 170 countries worldwide. Reaching this standard allows companies to achieve increased customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.
OCCMS provides completions and commissioning management consultancy services to worldwide projects such as major construction, engineering and energy schemes.
Representatives from BSI recently presented the OCCMS management team John Todd and Barry Cann with their certificate at OCCMS’s Inverness headquarters.
Barry Cann, Managing Director of OCCMS, said: “Achieving this certification is a global first for a completions and commissioning management provider, and puts OCCMS head and shoulders above our competitors. It will bring benefits not only to the business, but to our clients around the world in providing business and management efficiency on their CAPEX projects.”
